As a charitable organization dedicated to serving disadvantaged communities across Pakistan, Shibli Trust undertakes Eid al-Adha programs with a vital role in ensuring the spirit of sacrifice and generosity is upheld during this significant Islamic festival. One key activity we undertake is working closely with local communities to identify individuals and families unable to afford sacrificial animals, and we facilitate the purchase, slaughtering, and meat distribution of these animals to ensure everyone can partake in the joy of Eid al-Adha.
In addition to the slaughtering of sacrificial animals, we prioritize the equitable distribution of meat to disadvantaged communities. Once the animals have been sacrificed, we meticulously process the meat to ensure hygiene standards. Our dedicated volunteers organize distribution drives across various regions, reaching out to impoverished communities, orphanages, shelters, and low-income households. Through this initiative, we aim to provide nutritious meals to those who often struggle to have access to adequate food throughout the year. The distribution drives not only bring smiles and relief to the recipients but also foster a sense of solidarity and unity within the communities we serve, reinforcing the ethos of compassion and sharing that underpin the spirit of Eid al-Adha.
