Disaster Relief Initiatives
Shibli Trust recognizes the urgent need for disaster relief initiatives to assist communities affected by natural disasters. We are committed to providing timely and effective support to those affected by disasters such as floods and earthquakes. Our disaster relief initiatives are designed to address the immediate needs of affected communities and help them recover and rebuild their lives in the aftermath of such calamities.
In collaboration with local and international partners, we mobilize resources, including food, clean water, shelter materials, medical supplies, and hygiene kits, to provide immediate relief to affected communities. Our volunteers work on the ground to assess the situation, prioritize the most vulnerable groups, and ensure that the relief efforts reach those who need them the most. We also channel emergency medical assistance, facilitating medical camps and dispatching medical teams to treat injuries and prevent the outbreak of diseases in the aftermath of disasters.
In addition, Shibli Trust’s disaster relief initiatives extend beyond immediate response efforts. We focus on long-term recovery and rehabilitation by assisting communities in rebuilding their infrastructure such as building water wells, restoring livelihoods, and enhancing their resilience to future disasters. We collaborate with local stakeholders, donors, and government agencies to develop sustainable solutions, such as constructing resilient shelters, rehabilitating damaged residences and/or schools, and providing vocational training and livelihood support to help affected people and communities regain their self-sufficiency.
Through its disaster relief initiatives, Shibli Trust aims to bring hope, comfort, and support to those affected by disasters, helping them rebuild their lives and communities stronger than before.
